Soheill
Soheill's musical journey reflects the transformative power of art. Born in Iran and immigrating to the U.S. at seven, his early passion for music grew as he navigated the challenges of a new culture. Influenced by iconic bands like Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, and Depeche Mode, he forged a unique sound that blends 90's alt-rock energy with 80's new wave depth.
At 18, Soheill moved to Southern California, where he became a key figure in the local music scene, contributing as a songwriter and performer in bands like Evolve, Silent Room, and Side 8. This experience as a frontman and multi-instrumentalist paved the way for his solo career, allowing him to fully realize his artistic vision.
Music, for Soheill, is more than entertainment—it's a therapeutic outlet. His lyrics explore themes of love, self-reflection, and loss, resonating deeply with listeners. During his time in Los Angeles, he also became a certified Reiki practitioner, incorporating this holistic approach into his music by performing sound baths with his partner in Nashville and Southern California.
Soheill's impact on the Silverlake music scene was significant, with regular performances at iconic venues like Hotel Cafe and House of Blues. His talent earned him features on prominent radio stations such as Lightning 100, iHeart Radio, and The Buzz in Nashville.
In 2017, a move to East Nashville marked a new chapter in Soheill's career. His EP Somewhere Between Love and War, co-produced by Sam Kassirer, led to tours across Tennessee, Texas, and California, solidifying his reputation as a dynamic artist. With over 3 million streams on music platforms, Soheill continues to connect with audiences globally.
After the pandemic, Soheill found renewed purpose, channeling his experiences into the album Mirage, where he played every instrument. This album explores themes of elusive truths and feeling out of place, with the lead single "Answers From Beyond" offering a glimpse into the dreamlike world he's created. Soheill's innovative approach and dedication to his craft position him as a compelling force in the music industry.
